When did you start with yoga and how long have you been practicing?
I first started practicing yoga when I was 16. since then, it´s been a neverending journey. I am currently taking my third and by no means my last teacher training.
Why is yoga important in your life?
It´s almost a shame that yoga is a word. if it wasn´t, it could simply be everything. It is the Absolute in a world where ther is no Absolute. It teaches you to be there for yourself, in yourself, and at the same time, it teaches you that you don´t exist at all. And the best thing about it is that it teaches you to be absolutely fine and happy with all of that… if that makes any sense:)
What advice would you give to someone who is starting their yoga journey?
Use the Force – her name is Prana
How do you include yoga in your daily life?
I try to be aware of my breath, find a moment to see how I feel, and make myself more comfortable in any situation I find myself in. You can act and react best when you are calm and agile.
What can I expect when I join one of your classes?
In my classes, I try to encourage people to get to feel themselves and move intuitively and comfortably within themselves. I always give several variations of asanas to choose from and hope that I´m able to convey my love for Yoga to everyone in the class. I’m also always happy to adapt the class to anyone that has any specific wishes or problems.
What is your favorite asana?
Inversions, or twists? oh perhaps the vinyasas between? Oh, all of it!
