When did you start with yoga and how long have you been practicing?

When I went to my first yoga class 9 or 10 years ago, I couldn’t imagine that it would ever be my passion. Yoga and I had a difficult beginning with an on and off relationship… and yet, I always found my way back onto the mat. Every time life got busy and crazy, I remembered this practice called yoga. In 2018, I started to practice yoga daily. I had a crisis and yoga gave me peace, self-love, and presence – a safe space. Yoga offered me its hand and took me back to the present moment. It taught me to breathe, to move, and to feel myself again. This was the turning point! The point when I felt the decision “I want to be a yoga teacher”. I fell deeply in love with this idea and the butterflies were tumbling around in my stomach. So, I became a yoga teacher.

Why is yoga important in your life?

Yoga became my anchor in life. It is my way to ground myself again, to feel and observe my inner self and to come back into the present moment. Its not about competition its about feeling an observing. I really love it! Yoga is love for me!

What advice would you give to someone who is starting their yoga journey?

Yoga is not about competition. Stay with yourself. Stay with your breath. Explore your own boundaries. Stay playful and have fun!

How do you include yoga in your daily life?

Yoga is a huge part of my life. I do have my own daily practice and of course I teach a lot. I also try to practice yoga besides the mat. Flowing through my life, accepting, staying present and looking for my inner truth, my Dharma. I think it’s Yoga. Haha not always easy.

What can I expect when I join one of your classes?

i am trying to give my students space to explore themselves on the mat. I want to give them a safe space where they can breathe, come into the present moment and stay with themselves without being afraid.

What is your favorite asana?

Sirshasana, headstand. I am in love with inversions!
