2013, fell in love and have been practicing since!
Why is yoga important in your life?
Yoga guides me through the journey of self-discovery. The asanas have provided tools for trying new things, shifting my perspective and feeling more centered (calm). As a result I have experienced a deep transformation.
What advice would you give to someone who is starting their yoga journey?
How do you include yoga in your daily life?
I incorporate daily asana practice and breath work (although not always traditional Pranayama). For me Yoga is also about cultivating awareness, curiosity and compassion in daily moments and actions.
What can I expect when I join one of your classes?
You can expect to find your edge in a more dynamic class (Vinyasa or Hatha Flow) or to withdraw your senses and experience deep relaxation in Yoga Nidra.
What is your favorite asana?
Baddha Konasana (Bound Angle Pose) as it helps improve flexibility in the hips and prepares us for seated meditation. Favorite asana for now… 🙂
