The art of guiding deep rest
Yoga Nidra is a systematic meditative practice that uses guided awareness to move gradually from external experience toward subtler states of attention. In this training we explore both the personal experience of the practice and the skills needed to guide it for others.
The module combines theory, practice and teaching methodology. We look at structure, voice, pacing, preparation, the use of intention and how to create a setting that supports rest without making therapeutic promises.
Topics we explore
Foundations and stages of Yoga Nidra · preparing body and attention · rotation of awareness and sensory withdrawal · breath awareness · intention and Sankalpa in context · voice, language and pacing · building and adapting scripts · integrating Yoga Nidra into yoga and meditation classes · setting, boundaries and relevant contraindications · developing your own guided practice.
Who is it for?
This module is suitable for yoga teachers and experienced practitioners who want to deepen their own Yoga Nidra practice and learn how to guide it with more structure and confidence. You do not need to be enrolled in the full 300h programme to express interest in the next module.
Next Yoga Nidra Training
New dates will be published soon. The module is also part of our 300h Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Berlin.
